My humble view in relation to your article I have wondered over many years, ’The Palestine People have to live in peace in their lands, just as the Israeli people desire to in their land, has Israel forgotten the second world war?

I could ask how it’s possible to stuff so many misconceptions, half-truths and blatant lies into one short article, but it would be a rhetorical question.

Palestinan Arabs could have had a country three times in the past, yet refused every time. In 1937 the Peel Commission offered 65% of the Palestine Mandate lands between the River Jordan and the Mediterranean Sea, and the Palestinians refused, preferring violence to peace. The UN Partition Plan of 1947 offered 45% of the same area, and again the Palestinians and the entire Arab world refused, attacked Israel with the declared intention of ”driving the Jews into the sea”. Yasser Arafat was offered the West Bank and the Gaza Strip plus half of jerusael in Camp David in 2000 and walked out of the negotiations to start tyhe Second Intifada.

Palestinian ”government” of the West Bank and Gaza have been a travesty of corruption, thuggery, internal and external violence, discrimination and a reign of terror against its own people.

I would say that before any Palestinian body can make peace with Israel or anyone else, they have to make peace among themselves and turn their energies to building rather than trying to destroy what others have built.
